Attend a Meeting

NJCART hosts four meetings per year throughout the state where participants can network with other professionals and AT users. At every meeting, guest speakers present on a variety of topics relevant to the field of assistive technology. Past topics include AT resources for Traumatic Brain Injury, supporting literacy and a panel discussion of individuals who use wheelchairs.

NJCART meetings are open to the public for a $10 fee per person. You can enjoy free admission to the meetings by becoming a member.

Join the Listserv

The NJCART listserv is a free service for a growing email group of people interested in AT in the New Jersey area. It’s a great forum to ask tough AT questions, find out about the newest technology, tell others about upcoming events you are sponsoring, or announce new job openings.

To join, send an email with the subject line “NJCART listserv” to Adam Krass. Be sure to include your full name and the email address to include in the group.

Host a Meeting

Hosting a meeting is a great way to attract other professionals to your facility and showcase the features of your center, school or business. Bringing
NJCART into your own backyard is also a great way to share the resources and networking benefits of our organization with more of your own colleagues who may be interested in becoming more active with assistive technology in New Jersey. For more information about becoming a host site, contact
Mike Marotta.
